Description of Position / Tasks:

We are eager to employ a Sonographer with excellent patient service and communication skills. Attention to detail and good technical skills are of essential importance.

Ultrasound studies are performed on in-hospital and out of hospital patients, including but not limited to:
Abdominal / Pelvic, MSK, Doppler, Small Parts scans (i.e. Breast, Thyroid, Scrotum) and assisting with Interventional Ultrasound examinations.


The Practice contributes towards Group Medical Aid
fees, a Pension Fund, pays in full for Group Life Benefits (permanent disability benefits and funeral benefits) and offers a Uniform allowance according to the latest policies.
Annual leave days are 20 – 25 days depending on years of service at the Practice.

Required Qualifications:

The applicant must hold a BTech in Ultrasound or a B.Sc in Ultrasound and the HPCSA Registration should be up to date

Minimum years of relevant Experience required:

Any number of years experienced as duly Qualified Sonographer are acceptable as in-house orientation will be provided.
